I’m Lauren (she/her), an alternative celebrant who creates meaningful, authentic ceremonies, which make you feel magical.
Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement, immersed in nature, or a big, joyful celebration surrounded by your loved ones – I’m here to craft the perfect ceremony for you.
I create a safe, nurturing environment for you to explore different ideas, before writing and delivering your ceremony, shaped by your story and personality, and with symbolic actions and words that you truly connect with.
Your ceremony could include a handfasting, a crystal ceremony, an oathing ritual, and much more – finding rituals that feel authentic and comfortable is important, and my job is to guide you through this process.
In addition, my wedding and vow renewal packages include vow writing workshops, to help you to find the right words to say how you feel, during your ceremony. These can be taken individually, or as a couple, and take away the stress of having to do this (often daunting) task alone.
I love to work with to-be-weds from all backgrounds, but there is a special place in my heart for fellow LGBTQ+ to-be-weds, alternative weddings, elopements and outdoor ceremonies, and those navigating wedding traditions that don’t align with their values.
I also offer an optional ‘post-ceremony support’ package, for couples who would like a helpful human, with experience in event planning and management, to make sure everything flows and runs smoothly after your ceremony is over. The post-ceremony support is bespoke to each couple, and provides assistance with all of the little things to make your day run smoothly and seamlessly.
When I’m not writing wedding ceremonies, I like to escape into the trees with my wife and our two dachshunds – Norman and Klaus – with our TentBox and lots of black coffee.
